What is Mostadam?
Saudi Arabia’s national green building rating system, covering residential and commercial buildings. Enerphi builds the energy simulation and LCA evidence for Mostadam submissions.
What have you delivered under Mostadam?
Mostadam energy simulation for a mixed-use building in Riyadh, and combined ROSHN and Mostadam scopes — energy simulation, daylighting, thermal comfort, GHG and LCA — for golf villas, a gate house and admin block, and shopping malls in Riyadh and Diriyah.
How do Mostadam and ROSHN requirements interact?
ROSHN is a rating framework applied across the ROSHN developer’s communities; Mostadam is the national rating system. On projects where both apply, we model once and document for both.
Do you cover GHG accounting inside Mostadam scopes?
Yes — operational greenhouse gas calculation reported in tCO2e, delivered alongside the energy model.
What software do you use?
DesignBuilder on the EnergyPlus engine, validated against ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 140-2017 (BESTEST), with One Click LCA for LCA scopes.
