What we deliver.
BREEAM Ene 01, Reduction of energy use and carbon emissions, is the credit that drives the modelling scope. We build the proposed building model against the BREEAM notional baseline, run dynamic thermal simulation in DesignBuilder, and document the Energy Performance Ratio for New Constructions (EPRNC) to BREEAM standard. We deliver compliance for BREEAM International New Construction, BREEAM In-Use, and BREEAM ES Nueva Construcción.
BREEAM is not LEED
BREEAM uses dynamic simulation with hour by hour weather data. The baseline is the notional building per the BREEAM technical manual. The performance metric is EPRNC, not percentage improvement over an Appendix G baseline. For projects targeting both certifications we structure a single source of truth model so both compliance pathways are served without doubling the work.

BREEAM International or BREEAM UK, what is the difference?
BREEAM International is used outside the UK. BREEAM UK has UK specific compliance hooks. Both follow the same Ene 01 logic.
Can you run a LEED and BREEAM model in parallel from one source of truth?
Yes. Same building, two reports, both reviewer ready.
