Data Centers

Data centers require continuous operation and precise thermal management to ensure reliable IT infrastructure performance. Enerphi specializes in modeling mission-critical cooling systems, high equipment densities, redundancy strategies, and energy optimization measures for high-performance data centers.

Why Data Centers are Different

IT load dominates energy use. more than 80 percent in some scopes. The cooling boundary defines what is in or out of PUE, and reviewers scrutinise it. Free-cooling envelopes need climate-specific modelling. Dubai data centers at 47°C ambient cannot use the same free-cooling assumptions as Dublin. Liquid cooling integration is becoming standard for AI workloads and breaks classical air side ASHRAE 90.1 assumptions.

What We Model

  • IT load characterisation by rack density, cabinet count and design IT load.
  • PUE prediction across design IT, 50 percent and 25 percent partial load.
  • Cooling system modelling. Air cooled, water cooled, free-cooling, liquid cooled.
  • Climate-specific free-cooling envelope analysis.
  • Tier IV resilience implications on energy modelling.
  • LEED v4.1 EAp2 and EAc1 for Data Centers credit modelling.
  • Estidama Pearl Building Rating for Gulf data centers.
  • Green Mark Data Center for Singapore and Asian data centers.
